Tamarama

A peaceful suburb with a picturesque beach set between two prominent headlands, Tamarama is a popular stop along the Bondi to Bronte walk.

The beach is home to one of the first surf lifesaving clubs in the world, Tamarama Surf Life Saving Club, which was founded in 1906. Nicknamed Glamarama by the locals, Tamarama Beach is a popular spot for trendsetters to sunbathe, swim and take photos. Complete with a cafe, playground, barbecue area and amenities, it’s also a great place for surfing or a family day at the beach.

Situated in the Bondi to Bronte walk, Tamarama Beach comes alive around late October for the annual "Sculptures By The Sea" festival where thousands of people come to enjoy the famous walkways and admire the sculptures from local and international artists.

Tamara is a mostly residential suburb, with a choice of low rise apartment blocks and family homes, all strategically placed to capitalise on the water views. It’s perfectly positioned between Bondi and Bronte, meaning it’s easily accessible to shops, eateries and schools.
